FileWave Snow Leopard Compatibility Issues

As of FileWave 3.7.2, there are a few known issues with FileWave running in OS X Snow Leopard, all of which stem from how Snow Leopard handles the setuid bit on executables owned by root.

Client
FileWave FWGui.app presents a dialog upon login and requires to authenticate as an admin.
The fwGUI process will not start because it uses the setuid bit. As a result the notification window doesn't appear on the client machine when installers are delivered which require a reboot. Reboot installers are only executed when the user account is logged off.

Admin
The admin operates normally except it will prompt for an admin login/password as a result of the suid bit.

Server and Booster
There are currently no known issues with the server and booster running on Snow Leopard.

These issues have already been resolved and version 3.7.3 of FileWave will be fully functional on Snow Leopard.
