Asset Trustee 7.5
February 2, 2006
- New created user accounts need to be used at least one time on the machine
they where originally created, otherwise it could fail when the new created user
tries to login from another machine to the AT Inventory.
Workaround:
- Delete in /Library/WebServer/prefs the user_X.xml file.
- Issue is fixed in the new AT 7.5.1 release.
- Imports using the import.sh script and cron could fail. Issue with licenses for total scans only.
Workaround:
- Please use the manual import function.
- Issue is fixed in the new AT 7.5.1 release.
- A second (And/Or) Filter query in "components" starting with a number can fail. For example the first query starts with > Name / contains / "Adobe" "And" the second query > Version / contains / 10
Workaround:
- Please use in your 2nd query a single quote in front and after the number (example '10')
- Issue is fixed in the new AT 7.5.1 release.

Asset Trustee 7.0.2
October 3, 2005
- Using the 7.0.2 "Inventory" version could cause issues, if multiple Total scans from the same computer were imported (double entries).
Workaround:
- Please install the AT Inventory version 7.0.3 (issue fixed)
- Queries in database for non-standard characters such as ™ or ® fail.
- Internal ID is listed as a column in reports saved in Excel or CSV format.
- Reports saved as Excel or CSV format with more than 65,535 rows fail to show all rows when opened in Excel.
This is a limitation of Excel. There are workarounds by using a macro inside the excel sheet. See Microsoft support article Q120596 for details and workarounds.
